Dick Tracy
|
The Dick Tracy radio show had two long runs. The first began on
September 30, 1935 on Mutual, a five-times-a-week serial. It then moved to
NBC in 1937 and went off the air in 1939. The second began on the Blue
Network in 1943 and ended in 1948. Tootsie Rolls was the sponsor. The
program would open with a radio code followed by Tracy giving a quick
summary of the storyline. |
